Kick-off event SDG Young Leaders Network
The SDG Young Leaders Board is a young professionals board under Global Compact Network Netherlands – the local Dutch network of UN Global Compact. The board is working hard to build a young leaders network, acting as a Sustainable Development Goals-focused connector between young professionals and their (in-company) networks in the Netherlands and beyond.
During the #BeTheChange session hosted by Philips, the network will introduce itself for the first time, starting off with opening words from Jan-Willem Scheijgrond (Chair of Global Compact Network Netherlands) and going into board members’ personal stories and their vision for the SDG Young Leaders Network. Subsequently, different business-based young professionals will share their view on the way the SDGs are imbedded in their organizations as well as the value an SDG-focused network can provide to their own respective networks.
