To date, more than 5,000 top executives have committed to the Women’s Empowerment Principles, recognizing that advancing gender equality is not only the right thing to do, it is also good for business. Yet research shows that less than 30% of companies set concrete goals and targets to enable progress and ensure accountability.
UN Global Compact Target Gender Equality Programme – Closing the Gap Between Commitment and Action
Target Gender Equality is an accelerator program for participating companies of the UN Global Compact that helps close the gap between commitment and action. Facilitated in 44 countries, the Global Compact Network Netherlands hosts the 2021 Edition for companies based in The Netherlands.
