Who can be nominated as SDG Pioneer?
Any young professional (35 and under) that works at a company that is a Participant or Signatory of the UN Global Compact. The level that the person works at in the company does not matter

Only CEOs and/or members from the leadership team of companies participating in the UN Global Compact are eligible to nominate someone

When is the nomination deadline?
April 15th, 2019
Why should I nominate myself/someone?
SDG Pioneers will be globally recognized for their work for the SDGs. This does not only provide opportunities for yourself, but it also means that you will get the chance to inspire others, on a significant scale. Our national SDG Pioneer will get the chance to speak at one of our events (at least) and to be an advocate for Global Compact The Netherlands. Winning the Global Rounds among others means that you will be recognized during the 2019 UN General Assembly in New York
What to I have to do to nominate myself/someone else?
Simply fill this form for yourself and this one for someone else. When you have nominated a young professional then he or she needs to accept the nomination by filling in the application form. They will receive this form from UN Global Compact by an email.
When will the 2019 SDG Pioneer The Netherlands be announced?
When UN Global compact finishes its due diligence. This will be on the 31ste of May the latest.
How many winners will there be?
Only one 2019 SDG Pioneer The Netherlands will be selected, yet in the Global Round a group of SDG Pioneers will be selected
When will the 2019 Global SDG Pioneers be announced?
In September, the exact date is to be announced
